Jack RushenThis year, Jack celebrates his 25th year in show business, working in clubs, stage, television, and film. He began his professional acting career in Michael Moriarty's production of RICHARD III, which he performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. He also appeared in several regional theatre productions, including THE ADMIRABLE CRICHTON, ETHAN FROME and THE DOCTORS DILEMMA at New Haven’s esteemed Long Wharf, and was also seen at the Hartford Stage in ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA, under the direction of Mark Lamos.

Film projects include roles in GOODFELLAS, F/X, POWER, and most recently, FIND ME GUILTY, directed by Sidney Lumet, and 16 BLOCKS, starring Bruce Willis and Mos Def, directed by Richard Donner. Television audiences have seen him in LAW AND ORDER, ED, and PROS AND CONS, a new pilot starring Billy Baldwin. Soap Opera appearances include THE EDGE OF NIGHT, ONE LIFE TO LIVE, and ALL MY CHILDREN. He recently played a prosecutor in the film NOW AND FOREVER for German Television.

Also a comic and comedy writer, his stand up comedy has taken him to such well-known clubs as STAND UP NEW YORK, GOTHAM COMEDY CLUB, THE IMPROV, THE MANDALAY BAY HOTEL in Las Vegas and THE NEW YORK COMEDY CLUB to name just a few. He has written several sitcom pilots and spec scripts for FAMILY GUY, KING OF QUEENS, and THE SIMPSONS.

Jack is a member of the Emerging Artists Theatre in New York City, where several of his comedies and dramas have been produced. Recent projects include a short film, TEMPORARY HELP, and his first feature film AMONG FRIENDS, is to be shot in the fall of 2005.
